Release notes
ANA Cohort v3.2.0#
ANA Cohort 3.2.0 is the first public release of the 3.x line. It brings together the service-based architecture introduced in the internal 3.0.0 baseline and the security, operational, and workflow hardening completed in the internal 3.1.0 baseline, with an updated experience across projects, batches, outputs, and administration.
5 New5 Improved5 Fixed
New
- New service-based 3.x architecture with clearer boundaries across cohort workflows, PACS connectivity, identity, DICOM processing, outputs, and exports.
- Expanded administration for users, organizations, roles, authentication settings, audits, operational logs, telemetry, and updates.
- Project- and batch-level export workflows with clearer destination, delivery, and download handling.
- Input-coverage review and downloadable missing-item reporting.
- In-app documentation, product and third-party information, and expanded localization.
Improvements
- Clearer batch progress, partial-failure visibility, and recovery behavior across long-running workflows.
- Stronger sign-in, session, first-login, user-management, and authenticated-navigation experiences.
- Better PACS configuration, listener settings, and connectivity-test workflows.
- More reliable filter-preset creation and selection, including searchable preset lists.
- Improved handling of large batches, loading and error states, accessibility, and responsive layouts.
Fixes
- Fixed filtering cases that could retain series which should have been excluded.
- Fixed per-file downloads that could fail and end the user session.
- Fixed several batch-progress, output-refresh, route-navigation, and request-lifecycle problems.
- Fixed issues affecting authentication settings, first-login flows, operational-log filtering, and update approval.
- Includes security and dependency maintenance across the 3.x application stack.
ANA Cohort 2.3.0#
ANA Cohort 2.3.0 improves batch processing, outputs, deidentification controls, and operator workflows.
4 New4 Improved4 Fixed
New
- Batch rerun support from selected workflow phases, making it easier to retry work without restarting from the beginning.
- Expanded outputs experience with grouped result views, multi-file download, and richer output inspection.
- Support for explicit anonymized patient names in CSV-driven batch creation.
- Better handling for no-result batch outcomes, with a dedicated terminal state and clearer feedback.
Improvements
- Clearer live progress and status handling across batch detail and output flows.
- More flexible CSV import and validation behavior, including better support for quoted values and safer parsing.
- Stronger deidentification controls for patient identity handling and output organization.
- Better operator workflows around presets, reruns, and output review.
Fixes
- More reliable handling of vendor-specific DICOM retrieval responses.
- Batch processing now continues more safely when an individual series fails instead of failing the entire batch.
- Improved correctness for output paths, patient-name overrides, and deidentification response data.
- Security and validation fixes across PACS configuration, authentication-sensitive endpoints, and DICOM edge cases.
ANA Cohort 2.1.0#
ANA Cohort 2.1.0 improves auditability, batch workflow reliability, outputs, and deidentification operations.
4 New4 Improved4 Fixed
New
- Audit-trail support for deidentification runs by preserving the source CSV and filter preset used for processing.
- Path-based deidentification workflows with asynchronous processing support.
- Better support for batch reruns and clearer handling of no-result outcomes.
- Expanded outputs experience with richer output browsing, grouped study views, and multi-file download.
Improvements
- Clearer handling for active, paused, and completed batch workflows.
- Better operator workflows around presets, outputs, and reruns.
- More flexible deidentification output organization for multi-patient datasets.
- Better real-time visibility into batch and output progress.
Fixes
- Stronger validation and reliability for PACS configuration and DICOM-related API behavior.
- Better consistency in output handling, batch-state transitions, and endpoint responses.
- Security fixes for authentication-sensitive and PACS administration surfaces.
- Better frontend reliability around token refresh, WebSocket lifecycle, and preset editing flows.
